New immigration law system could look like any difficulty,it sounds as if anyone who can show they are directly descended from the Earl of Grantham will automatically be let into the country. everyone else will have to satisfy two conditions before they are even considered: EITHER the doctor has to have at least 5,000 with them and also an item for the Antiques Roadshow which has been in their family for four or five generations, OR they must have a certificate from three top online dating services declaring them to be eligible. Every newly admitted immigrant must bring his or her own high leadership jacket. Need help with a Hub topic Need help with a Hub topicJump to Last Post 1 8 of 8 conversations (12 pastes)Hey men and women, I am a little puzzled by one of Hubpage's rules on writing hubs and I am sure you can give me the answer. I started to write a hub on Blackjack tactics. Some people can argue that this is about gambling money and that of which fine, But my hub is not about making or gambling money. it not even mention the word "finance" once. in addition, I do see hubs about pontoon, Roulette among other casino games. When I begun to write my hub, i bought the "This hub is at risk of not being qualified, as things are about gambling money" or something like that. What I am so confused about is that there are several of these hubs out there. How did they do this "concurrent risk" indicator? As i said, My content is not about forcing or gambling money, But more about the techniques and strategies used to play Blackjack as a card game. Pomaposted 7 years agoYou can always flag those two Hubs that you mentioned and explain that you see them as topics suggesting gambling. If you have any questions and explain away why you feel your Hub has merit for publication, A moderator sets you straight. with regard to example, I have this Hub on teleordering brides, And have been approached twice about it because it is against policy to write about intercontinental dating/mail order bride or grooms. I wrote about a friend who chose to marry a mail order bride. I think so why this Hub was not deleted was because I wasn't suggesting any agencies or pushing the mail order bride experience. there can be a way around this for you, But you won't know should you not ask. i've a lot of gamblers in my family, But i wouldn't gamble. I know enough about them, But I prefer not to think about it on any online site. This also includes my expertise in firearms. I prefer to endure tamer subjects. if not, I've wasted my time creating a Hub that won't be allowed for publication.Rfordinposted 7 years agoI go along TimeTraveller2, I think what a very gray area. i've come across many hubs myself on different gambling related topics, Some were nicely done others were a clear breach of HP rules.when your article is as "safe and secure" As you claim it is you might be in violation so to speak. Hubpages editor tools are trying to find possible violations since there is not a "Real particular" overlooking everyone's hubs before their allowed to be published. Sometimes your hub can have the keywords that trigger the automated response of "This hub may very well be ______" otherwise the hub is "legal" located on HP.You can always drop a line to someone in admin asking more questions to better clarify as Arlene suggested or you can continue writting your hub and wait and see what happens as far as being in violation goes.I had a hub go deep into viloation ONE time. I was presented with a warning and it was unpublished. I was able to revamp it and re publish it onces it was up to par with HP stnadards. so all hope is not lost, Just may need some tailoring to avoid total loss. good luck.William Youngposted 7 years agoI had a similar thing happen recently. I wrote an article about how I feel predator drones should be employed to combat the Mexican Drug Cartels. okay, Either Google or Hubpages didn't like some thing I wrote and they pulled the advertising of that hub. Apparently it was the fact I started talking about specific weaponry and I included a picture of a drone. So I deleted the hub and re wrote it. I hope have a better experience on here.Spartucusjonesposted 7 years agoThe key point you need to bear in mind is that the warning states jump for love it is at risk. Being at risk does not readily mean that it won't be approved (Which means some of the other hubs to have referred to may of received the same warning). It just means that the moderators will seriously consider it.For example I wrote a hub on how free downloads where good for the record companies. I got a similar thing warning, And the hub did via a review period. But the moderators ended up approving it because the hub was not promoting file sharing sites of dubious legality. Instead it focused on how individual music artists and labels have chosen free downloads as part of their online marketing strategy. Also as whilst suggest, You can do contact the moderators and explain why your hub does not violate hubpages policy.20Help for New HubbersHow long does it take for a hubpage to get published?By Warren Clark 7 years agoI find it kind of ridiculous that I have been waiting for a few weeks now for one of my hubpages to be published. What was the longest time you have ever had it take to get a hubpage to publish?24Help for New HubbersHubteam is yaking my Hub of violation of Termsby writinginalaska 9 years agoIs everyone else having HubTeam yaking their hubs siting violation of terms? They yaked 4 of mine in the last 48 hours which have been posted for months. What the heck is being conducted?Warning I'm on HubPages Probation My 302 hubs being unpublishedby Katie McMurray 8 in years past.
